Social media has bred a race of people who share their lives online in a way that has never happened before. The line between personal and too personal is now extremely blurry.
But how much sharing is too much sharing?
A recent news story of a Cork-based couple who wanted the whole world to share in the birth of their child has had mixed views. Jonathan and Anna Saccone-Joly publish a daily video and have now acquired some ‘reality’ fame…..but did filming the birth of their child take sharing to far?
Sharing some horrific comments from people, they are adamant in keeping their daily video alive and feel strongly about what they are doing.
Are some of us more drawn to socially sharing?
Have the younger members of society accepted being this sociable?
How will it affect others areas of our lives like work, our children as they grow up and family members?
